Hey Friends! The `16 vintage release will be here in no time. We thought it would be high time to circle back and remind everyone that we will be closing out futures sales for the `16 vintage at the end of February given that we will be releasing this vintage in late March.
Here is what is on deck for the coming spring release: 2016 PV Cabernet Sauvignon - Dineen Vineyards - Yakima Valley 2016 PV Merlot - Candy Mountain - Columbia Valley 2016 PV Sangiovese - Candy Mountain - Columbia Valley 2016 PV Syrah - Dineen Vineyards - Yakima Valley 2018 SoS Rose ("Saignee of Sangiovese") - Columbia Valley The 2016 vintage marks the reintroduction of Syrah to the line-up as well as some additional hang time in the barrel for all varietals. We've continued to adjust our barrel and aging regiment and are starting to see some real sweet spots develop in lengthening the time in barrel and the variety of oak employed. We are continue to tune our processes to the nuances of each vineyard and we feel like we are really hitting a stride. The Syrah, Cab, and Merlot all have something different to offer and we feel like each one of them is special in its own right. The Sangiovese still remains the house favorite and our 2018 PV SoS "Saignee of Sangiovese" is a softer and more approachable rendering of what was done in `17. We produced 220 cases for this vintage. As always, we are offering a 12 bottle mixed case priced at $315.00. We've also added the option to purchase specific varietal futures as well as Rose futures specifically. We will ship to Washington, Oregon, and California and will arrange shipping upon release. The mixed case futures offering can be purchased here: http://store.pearlvintners.com/item/futures-mixed-case For single varietal cases, Rose, and current releases, you can find those at here: http://store.pearlvintners.com/ If you are a prior patron, please reach out to us for the patron promo code so we can ensure you get your past year discounts (or check your e-mail as we distributed this late last year). We would like to thank all of you for your continued support of PV. Our yearly futures offering is our bread and butter, so if you have any interest and haven’t purchased in prior years, please do let us know and we can provide additional information as needed. If you have issues, you can always reach out via our contact page or reach us via FB messenger. Cheers! Micah Winemaker/Proprietor
